MLS announces 2014 club and executive award winners

Major League Soccer announced the winners of year-end awards that recognize individuals and clubs for outstanding contributions off the playing field on Thursday.


The club and executive award winners were highlighted by Real Salt Lake president Bill Manning (pictured) being recognized as the Doug Hamilton Executive of the Year for the second time in three years. Under Manning’s leadership, Real Salt Lake continues to be one the most successful teams in MLS both on and off the field. Additional highlights include the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City both receiving four awards.
