Match #1: Philadelphia Union vs. New York Red Bulls
WHO WILL WIN?
- The Union made the semifinals at the MLS is Back Tournament, and then opened their season restart with a 0-0 draw at the New England Revolution last Thursday. As for the Red Bulls, they're riding some confidence behind a 1-0 win over rivals NYCFC in the Hudson River Derby.
- Philadelphia spread the scoring love around, with seven different players registering one regular-season tally in 2020. They've also been shutout twice this year.
- Outside back Kyle Duncan is RBNY's leading goalscorer with two goals and two assists. He had one goal in 17 MLS games before this season.
- All-time Series: RBNY lead 14W - 7L - 5D; RBNY 40 goals scored, PHI 30 goals scored
- Kickoff: Tuesday, August 25 at 7:30 pm ET

Match #2: Orlando City SC vs. Nashville SC
WHO WILL WIN?
- Orlando, fresh off an MLS is Back Tournament final appearance, are seeking a return to the win column after losing to Florida rivals Inter Miami 3-2. There's a similar tune from expansion side Nashville SC, with last Saturday's trip to Atlanta United ending in a 2-0 defeat.
- Nashville have two goals on the year, which is tied for the fewest in MLS alongside NYCFC. Orlando have proven steady in the final third, though, with their nine goals third-highest in the Eastern Conference.
- This will be Nashville's inaugural trip to Exploria Stadium, with Orlando seeking their first win at that venue under head coach Oscar Pareja.
- All-time Series: First-ever meeting
- Kickoff: Wednesday, August 26 at 7:30 pm ET

Match #3: Inter Miami CF vs. Atlanta United
WHO WILL WIN?
- Miami are coming off a 3-2 win against Orlando, giving the expansion club their first three points since entering the league. There's also some upward momentum for Atlanta, with interim head coach Stephen Glass opening his tenure with a 2-0 win over Nashville SC.
- Will Julian Carranza continue his goal-scoring form? The Argentine forward opened his account last weekend with a first-half brace.
- Pity Martinez is coming off a Man of the Match showing against Nashville, netting two beautiful goals on either side of halftime. If the Designated Player keeps surging, the Five Stripes will get a major lift.

Match #4: Real Salt Lake vs. LAFC
WHO WILL WIN?
- This series has heavily tilted in LAFC's favor over the years, but Bob Bradley's group is coming off a 2-0 loss in El Trafico against the LA Galaxy. It's a different rivalry-related story for RSL after last weekend's 4-1 come-from-behind win against Colorado in the Rocky Mountain Cup.
- LAFC have often allowed the first goal during the 2020 season, a trend that continued in last weekend's setback. They boast offensive firepower in bunches, but don't always look so dependable at the back.
- RSL exploded for four second-half goals against Colorado, in part thanks to a Man of the Match showing from Maikel Chang. He had one goal and two assists upon coming off the bench.
- All-time Series: LAFC lead 4W - 0L - 0D; LAFC 11 goals scored, RSL 2 goals scored
- Kickoff: Wednesday, August 26 at 9:30 pm ET
- Watch on: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US; DAZN in Canada
Match #5: San Jose Earthquakes vs. Portland Timbers
WHO WILL WIN?
- San Jose were one of two teams not to play in Week 6, so they'll carry fresher legs into the contest. But Portland's also looking for a rebound after a 3-0 setback against the Seattle Sounders, souring their cloud-nine feelings after winning the MLS is Back Tournament.
- The Earthquakes have played in three games this year that each featured seven goals, so fireworks are certainly possible. The man-to-man style under head coach Matias Almeyda leads to plenty of excitement.
- Portland have scored two goals five times this year, often depending on efficiency in the final third. The likes of Jeremy Ebobisse, Sebastian Blanco and Diego Valeri are their go-to options.
- All-time Series: POR lead 11W - 5L - 7D; POR 33 goals scored, SJ 26 goals scored
- Kickoff: Wednesday, August 26 at 10:30 pm ET
- Watch on: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US; DAZN in Canada
Match #6: LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders
WHO WILL WIN?
- Have LA finally turned a corner? Head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto sure hopes so after a 2-0 win over LAFC in El Trafico, his side's first victory of 2020. But the Sounders are also surging, grabbing a 3-0 win over Portland in the latest Cascadia clash.
- The Galaxy have posted just one shutout on the year, and it was last weekend's result against LAFC. As for Seattle, they've logged three shutouts this season.
- If you're looking for star power to decide the final result, perhaps LA forward Cristian Pavon or Seattle forward Raul Ruidiaz can come up clutch. They're among the league's premier players in their respective roles.
- All-time Series: LA lead 10W - 8L - 10D; LA 39 goals scored, SEA 38 goals scored
- Kickoff: Wednesday, August 26 at 11:00 pm ET
- Watch on: TUDN/UniMás; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada
