ORLANDO CITY SC vs D.C. UNITED
CITRUS BOWL, Orlando, Fla.

April 3, 2015 (WEEK 5, MLS Game #27)
7 p.m. ET (UniMas)

Orlando City SC return home for what is shaping up to be an early-season benchmark in the Eastern Conference when they take on D.C. United on Viernes de Fútbol at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. City are coming off their second result in as many road matches, coming back for a 2-2 draw at the Montréal Impact last weekend. United, last year’s East regular-season champions, are coming off a second successive home shutout victory, a 1-0 win against defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy at RFK Stadium.

  • D.C. United won their second consecutive 1-0 game at home to open the season, defeating the LA Galaxy behind a late stoppage-time goal from Chris Pontius, their first win against the defending MLS Cup champions in seven seasons.
  • Kaká scored one goal and set up another as Orlando City SC grabbed a result for the third time in four MLS matches with their come-from-behind 2-2 draw at the Montréal Impact. Kaká has been involved in three of OCSC’s four goals (2 goals, 1 assist); the fourth goal was an own goal.
  • Pedro Ribeiro also netted a goal and added an assist in the Impact draw; Ribeiro was also involved in the play that led to the own goal in the Houston win.
